I've been thinking about purchasing Silo 2.0 for sometime now; but I've just come across Hexagon 2.0. Both programs look great, I guess I'll have to do some experimenting.
I finally broke down and purchased an xBox 360. I don't normally like giving Microsoft my money; but I'm not sold on the PS3. Plus Gears of War looks to good to pass up.
So if anyone one needs a online buddy below is my gamertag.
Looking for a solution to managing your growing collection of e-zines and pdf tutorials. Give Yep a Try!
I've been using Yep for the last couple of weeks. Yep is a great tool for creatives who have allot of E-zines and pdf Tutorials. It automatically tags your imported files based on keywords in the pdf files them selves which is a great time saver. I can't imagine anything more time consuming then tagging files.
Give it a try. I've been using the demo version with no problems.* The demo version of Yep only allows 50 imports.
I've switch my default Mail client from Apple Mail to Gmail. I have to say I like it. I really love Apple Mail but I needed an email client that I could access from anywhere and when Gmail finally allowed me to access all my pop servers I made the switch. So far the transition has been easy. With only a couple of minor issues.
Things I don't Like
1. I don't like the look of Gmail. I think I might write a css skin.
2. The filters could be more powerful.
3. I would love label colors
4. I don't like having to go to the drop down menu to mark something as read.
These thinks are all minor and are not going to stop me from continuing to use Gmail as my primary email client.
I've just updated my stats tracking to the new Mint 2.0. I've been using Mint 1.0 for the last year or so and really have come to love it. It costs 30 bucks but Mint's worth the price. Mint gives you the stats in an easy to read and great looking format. It makes checking your site stats addictive.
CSSedit 2.0 was just released and it's an awesome app. I really loved CSSedit 1.0 and 2.0 is better in everyway. If you're not a great typer or really hate coding by hand then CSS is the tool for you.
Plus the live preview window is a very awesome tool. The ability to edit your css and see the changes reflected live is very handy. 2.0 has loads of other new features so check it out.
I've been messing with the new Qpict 7 digital asset manager for the last couple of days. It looks to be a solid release and definitely work checking out if your looking to manage a large amount of digital media files.
This looks like a promising app for GTD. I really like the interface and the look of the app. It's worth checking out.
I ran across this app the other day. It's a great attempt at a graphical file browser for the mac.
I finally decide to buy Iview Media Pro. I've been looking for a good digital media viewer for a while now. I would of switched to Iview along time ago if the price tag wasn't so high.
I've only been using it for the last couple of days and so far I'm really impressed it's fast and handles a bunch of different media types.

Rita is a nice little vector drawing program that has some really cool features and simple easy to use interface.

This Mail.app plugin rearranges the interface into three vertical columns -- so the message pane is to the right, rather than below, the message list. It works like a charm on my new widescreen monitor.
Very Cool little plugin.

New Search interface for Inquisitor from the maker of Newsfire. Check it out it's pretty cool.

An unobtrusive, easy to use time tracker. It’s not bloated with features you’ll never use, yet it’s powerful enough handle all of your time tracking needs.
I've been using this app for the last week or two and really have come to like it. On the Job has all the features I've been looking for with a couple of exceptions. If your looking for a time tracking app give this one a try.

MacZOT is offering another great deal on SubEthaEdit so check it out.
BlogZOT! uses the power of blogs to create value for all Mac users. In today's example: Each qualified blog entry reduces the price of SubEthaEdit from $30.00 to $0.00 by $0.05 per entry. For each entry, that's $166+ given back to the Mac community. -- Statement from BlogZOT.
Well I finally got my state and federal taxes back and decided that I would bite the bullet and buy that 23" Cinema Display with my refund check. I have to say after a couple of days of use it's awesome the display is bright, sharp and the colors are sweet. I almost went for the 30" but the price tag was to much for just a monitor, maybe in a couple of years...
AppZapper is a uninstall application for the mac and it's pretty cool. If you link to the MaxZot site you and 259 fellow bloggers may have a chance to get AppZapper for free.
So if you got sometime today check it out. Offer ends in a couple of hours.

Cool new tool for viewing and managing photos on your flickr account. *It's an early build.
I've been looking for a project manager To Do List solution on the mac for sometime now. I've tried just about every new product that comes out and finally decided to bite the bullet and give OmniOutliner Pro and Kinkless GTD System a spin. I would have tried this long ago but OmniOutliner Pro is $70 bucks. Yes, the Kinkless GTD System requires the pro version.
I've only been using OmniOutliner Pro and Kinkless GTD System for a couple of days now but I have to say I like it. It's easy to use, syncs with iCal and if you keep the OmniOutliner doc on your ipod you have your To Do List where ever you go. Plus it works with High Priority.
If you got a nice refund from the tax man give OmniOutliner Pro a try you might find it useful.

Quick Tip - Photohsop ( intermediate )
Using the Eyedropper tool option click on a color in the image window to change the background swatch color.

I took some screenshots of the latest build of IE. I not sure I like the UI; but it's definitely a step in the right direction.

Two of my favorite PodCasts featuring tips, tricks and news on everything photoshop.

Here we go a new NetNewsWire Style. I created this style for personal use and have been using it for a couple of weeks now. I really like it, it's simple clean and platinum. This new style is based on Itunes new platinum style which I really like more so than the old brush metal style. I hope you like it.
Bug Fix
*I fixed a problem where the headline text would overflow. If you have already downloaded the style or just downloading it for the first time click the download link below.

This is a really cool app. I've been looking for something like this for a long time.
This looks cool. A port of Quake II working on your PSP. Sweet!
Too bad I updated my firmware to 2.0. Maybe a hack will come out soon. Check out all the cool screenshots.

Apple has released Broadband Tuner v1.0, a utility that tweaks the system parameters of Macs with very high speed Internet connections — 5 Mbps or faster.
Broadband Tuner changes the default values for the size of the TCP send and receive buffers used by Mac OS X, according to Apple. “With larger buffers more data can be in transit at once,” said Apple. “A startup configuration file is also updated so that these changes will persist across restarts.”
An optional uninstaller can be used to restore the system settings that were in effect before the parameters were changed. System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.4 or later.

Over 80% of the application has been rewritten to take advantage of new Mac OS X 10.4 technologies. Path Finder 4 is faster and more efficient than ever!
